Visit the Château de Blois
The Royal Château of Blois reached its apogee during the reigns of Louis XII and François I, in the first half of the 16th century. Its architecture is Renaissance with its famous spiral staircase, but also classical with the Gaston d'Orléans wing, a masterpiece by François Mansart. Designated a national museum, the Château de Blois houses over 30,000 works of art, notably in the royal flats of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in the Louis XII wing.
Events at the Château de Blois
The sound and light show "Ainsi Blois vous est conté" is performed every evening during the summer in the courtyard of the Royal Castle. Other events are offered at different times of the year: escape games, virtual reality immersion, unusual tours and tours for young visitors. There's no shortage of events at the Royal Château of Blois!
