Beauregard castle

The châteaux of the Loire Valley

The home of kings' ministers

On the edge of the Russy forest, 5 km from Blois, lies the park and château of Beauregard. Beauregard is a 16th-century royal residence set in an extraordinary 40-hectare park.

The castle grounds

The park alone makes a wonderful family visit: the rose garden, the now renovated ice house, the children's garden, the two-hundred-year-old cedars and the magnificent layout of the grounds.

Visit the inside of the castle

The château is famous for its Galerie des Illustres: 327 portraits tracing the political history of the Kingdom of France between 1328 and 1643. The woodwork, (family) furniture and kitchen are also much admired by visitors. The Domaine de Beauregard is located in the commune of Cellettes in Loir et Cher, 15 minutes from Blois town centre. It is a listed historic monument.
